Blue Taj is owned by Manu Nishal and Ajay Anand, close friends for many years prior to their foray into business. Manu, an Indian immigrant, arrived in New York City from New Delhi in 1999. Upon reaching American shores, Manu worked his way up from taking odd jobs in New York to owning the successful Indian restaurant, Palace of Asia, in Fort Washington. 

Ajay, an Indian immigrant from Punjab, charted a different course upon arrival. Ajay entered the U.S. armed forces and after completing his service Ajay enroled in university. Now, Ajay tenures in the financial sector but is ready to add a new way to serve the community to his portfolio in Blue Taj.

Blue Taj owes its existence not only to Manu and Ajay but also to our amazing chef, Bitu. Bitu, an Indian immigrant from Punjab, brings years of invaluable experience, having worked in various Indian restaurants through the years, including Palace of Asia during Manu's tenure as both chef and owner. Now serving as our head chef at Blue Taj, Bitu oversees day-to-day operations with great care and expertise. We are completely confident that you will be impressed by his remarkable talents!
